My focus has always been on addressing a person's pain and the dysfunctional patterns of their body. For me, the reward comes from getting a person out of pain and getting them back to doing the activities they love.

Every modality I have studied is concerned with pain relief and restoration of the body to optimal functioning. I look for the least invasive technique to alleviate pain and restore body function.

My Training

My passion is bodywork and I was fortunate to get started at an early age, obtaining my massage license in 1985.

Since that time, I have performed over 25,000 hours of hands-on therapy and completed over 1,000 hours of advanced training. This has let me develop an understanding of the best approaches to assist my clients with relieving their pain and dysfunction.

I have chosen to study with innovative leaders in the field of massage therapy, many of them developing their own modality. These include Aaron Mattes with Active Isolated Stretching, Erik Dalton with Myoskeletal Alignment Technique, and Paul St. John and Judith DeLany with Neuromuscular Therapy. 

Additionally, my experience includes work as a Teaching Assistant in seminars and workshops with these pioneers, Aaron Mattes, Paul St. John, and Judith DeLany.
