My work is all about relieving pain and restoring function to my clients. I focus on modalities that are known to be effective in getting a person out of pain and functioning optimally in their activities. It's all about alleviating pain and restoring body function for my clients.

I offer clinical forms of soft tissue therapy to address specific pain patterns and dysfunction as well as relaxing Swedish massage to reduce stress and muscle tension.  

 AIS, Active Isolated Stretching

AIS provides profound myofascial release of the body. This specific assisted stretching technique facilitates major muscle groups to improve flexibility and range of motion, and the restoration of superficial and deep fascial planes. This promotes optimal physiologic functioning of the neural, lymphatic, and vascular systems as well as the body's biochemical and biomechanical homeostasis which in turn relieve pain.

Neuromuscular Therapy, Trigger Point Therapy, Deep Tissue Massage

Specific deep tissue massage to release trigger points, address postural distortions, correct adverse factors in soft tissue, and restore the proper function of muscles and nerves. 

MAT, Myoskeletal Alignment Techniques 

Working from the knowledge that the body's myofascial and skeletal systems are inseparable, what affects one always affects the other. Accordingly, Myoskeletal Alignment focuses on treating stubborn pain conditions by mobilizing joints through muscle manipulation. Shown here is the Tigney technique which helps alleviate back pain.

Swedish Massage

This therapy uses light to medium massage pressure to decrease physical tension and mental stress, increase circulation and joint flexibility, and promote healing of the muscular tissues. By relieving stress and anxiety, it may improve sleep, concentration, and enhance an overall sense of wellbeing.
